Chicken
The chicks make their entrance at a day of life. Already well autonomous, their instinct dictates how to feed and clean themselves. However, their stay begins in the house under heated lamps because although resourceful, they are still rather fragile.
After 2 weeks, they are moved to their final location where they will finish their growth up to 10 or 12 weeks.
Duck
We welcome ducklings when they have only 24 hours of life. The robustness of such a small creature is impressive. Already, they elbow their way to eat and get the best place under the heating lamp. Their first weeks are in the house to oversee their integration. The bathtub is converted into a swimming pool for supervised swimming.
The ducklings are then relocated to the landscaped environment that will let them grow until they reach 12 weeks.
Turkey
Like chicks of other species, poults arrive at the farm at a day-old. Their first weeks are all about snuggling up against each other under the heat of the heating lamp.
A little less agile than their volatile peers, their growth is much slower. They will develop over nearly 5 months. Little greedy at first, their appetite increases mainly during the last month.
